Mick first approached WeBoost for a white hat SEO solution, after having disappointing encounters with other agencies in the past. Even though their (now old) site had apparently been optimised, there was very little evidence of this on the site itself and in terms of backlinks to the site.

Challenge

We needed to research the most relevant keyword targets, optimise the onsite content to improve relevancy of these and gain high quality backlinks to the site in order to help them rank well. We also needed to build a modern, mobile responsive and SEO friendly website which could accommodate their complicated pricing structure, based on dimensions, colours and multiple product addons.

Solution

Their old site was optimised fully throughout, targeting a range of relevant, highly searched keywords. We also used onsite help articles in order to build relevant, high quality links to the site. The previous site's Analytics had inaccurate goals set up, so they were not reflecting the actual enquiries generated via the site. We updated these in order to get a full picture of the enquiries generated, so once the site was ranking well we were able to see how effective the optimisation was and gather information about the return on investment.

 

Since then, their old site was ranking well for over 30 keywords but due to limitations of the site we were struggling to break into the top position. Mick decided to have us design and develop a new website for MDM Security Doors, which was fully SEO friendly and allowed us to optimise elements we were previously unable to do so. This was developed on a WordPress platform using Woocommerce as the foundation for their online store and cost calculators.

Results

Our work, including web design and development of the new site, has resulted in rankings improving even further and the site now ranks in 1st position for 17 highly searched & relevant keywords and on the first page of Google for over 35 keyword targets. This has trebled SEO visits and significantly increased their takings. Mick frequently contacts us with news of big orders and great sales thanks to our valuable input.

 

We have also managed a successful PPC campaign which generates hundreds of further visits to the site and have increased enquiries and orders significantly. During the management process, we've increased the Click Through Rate by 100% whilst reducing Cost Per Click prices by 30%.
